F. Confined Space

"Confined space" is a working space that: (1) Is large enough and so configured that an employee can bodily enter and perform assigned work; and. (2) Has limited or restricted means for entry or exit (for example, tanks, vessels, silos, storage bins, hoppers, vaults, and pits are spaces that may have limited means of entry.

1. Recognize confined space and its hazards 2, 3, 4

2. Apply OSHA requirements 2, 3, 4

3. Permit-Required Confined Spaces 2, 3, 4

Recognize when a confined space becomes a permit-required confined space along with the associated requirements 2

Understand requirements of working within a permit-required confined space (permit, gas monitoring, confined space rescue, etc) 3, 4
